Who are we?
Specialized Interpreting Services (SIS) was founded in January 2021 by Nikki Cherry to fill a need they noticed not only locally, but nationally and beyond. The goal of SIS is to provide a uniquely tailored language translation experience for every user of our services. Our diverse team of interpreters are all highly skilled with adaptive capabilities to all users of American/International Sign Language. We provide assistive technological accommodation consulting and American Sign Language coordination services to those who are unfamiliar with how to ensure access for individuals who are Deaf/hard of hearing and DeafBlind.

Consulting Services
Let us help you understand your role in making your events and work spaces accessible to people who are Deaf/hard of hearing and DeafBlind. We also provide consultation services for assistive technology for deaf/hard of hearing individuals.
Coordinating Services
Let SIS do the work of arranging qualified interpreters for your events - conferences, workshops, orientations, ongoing jobs, etc. SIS also provides high quality specialized interpreting services for large concert halls and sporting events.
